About Flower Mound Lacrosse
Flower Mound Lacrosse Association (FMLA) is a community based lacrosse program that is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity and non-profit organization dedicated to fostering and promoting a safe, disciplined, respectful, and team-oriented program where boys (1st - 12th grade) and girls (3rd - 12th grade) can learn the fundamentals of lacrosse, develop skills to be competitive in the game, as well as build the essential characteristics of good sportsmanship along with strong character.
Denton County residents has voted Flower Mound Lacrosse the Best Lacrosse Association in Denton County every year since 2013!
"The Flower Mound Lacrosse Association (FMLA) is in its 10th year of existence and, in recent years, has produced some of the top teams in the region and state in multiple age groups; on both the boys and girls sides."

Sammy Cambere just completed his Freshman year at the University of Utah where he is playing NCAA Division 1 Lacrosse and Majoring in Criminology.
During this past season, Sammy started all 15 games for Utes Lacrosse, leading the team in caused turnovers (20) and finishing second on the team in ground balls (52). And Sammy’s achievements didn't end on the defensive side of the field – this season, Sammy won 5 face-offs, scored 3 goals, and racked up 3 assists.
Sammy even made school history being credited with an assist in Utah’s first-ever goal as a NCAA D1 program:

Former FM Lacrosse player Emily Crump (Class of 2016), who received a full academic and athletic scholarship to play lacrosse at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY, is having tremendous success having just finished her Junior year!
In addition to playing NCAA Division 1 Lacrosse, Emily is studying Physical Therapy/Biology. FMLA is so excited for Emily for her athletic and academic achievements!
During the regular 2019 season, Emily was recognized for the following:
Over the course of 19 games this past season, Emily was ranked 2nd in the nation in Saves with 125 (.508%) and 3rd in the nation Goals Against Average (6.37%) among 2019 Division I Individual Stats Leaders.
With a 16-4 overall record (4-1 conference record), the Patriots won the MSC Championships and advanced to the NAIA National Invitational Semifinals. Overall, the Patriots finished the season ranked #3 in the final NAIA Coaches' Poll!
Emily's stats and honors in 2018 as a Sophomore include:
Emily’s Freshman year, she played in 11 games (started 10), made 99 saves, and posted a .518 save percentage. She recorded double-digit saves seven times in five straight games, made a career-high 17 saves against Georgetown, ranked eighth in the NAIA for averaging 9.00 saves per game, tied for fourth on the team with 28 ground balls, and netted her first career goal in the win over Montreat.

Congratulations to FM Lacrosse HS Girls Varsity players Brynn Belmont, Taylor Ambrosio, Bailey McQuillen, Mackenzie Smith, and Hailey Zutic on being selected to the 2019 Under Armour All-America Lacrosse Southwest Girls 2021 and 2022 teams!
These ladies were invited to play in the Underclass Tournament in Maryland June 27th - 30th!

The 4th Annual FMLA Golf Tournament held on April 19th at Tour 18 Golf Club was a great success! A huge thank you to all who sponsored this event, to all the golfers, to all who donated items to and participated in the raffle and auction, and to all the volunteers who pulled it all together!
