Welcome to Flower Mound Lacrosse! Our Mission...

Flower Mound Lacrosse Association (FMLA) is a community based lacrosse program that is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity and non-profit organization dedicated to fostering and promoting a safe, disciplined, respectful, and team-oriented program where boys (1st - 12th grade) and girls (3rd - 12th grade) can learn the fundamentals of lacrosse, develop skills to be competitive in the game, as well as build the essential characteristics of good sportsmanship along with strong character.

Denton County residents voted Flower Mound Lacrosse the Best Lacrosse Association in Denton County (2017, 2016, 2015 & 2013)!

Car Raffle Fundraiser raises over $4,000 for FMLA!

Thank you to all who participated in the selling and purchasing of the car raffle tickets in support of FMLA’s participation in the Honda of Denton/Toyota of Denton Community Support Fundraiser! Through this fundraiser, FMLA was able to raise $4,326!

A big shout-out to Andrea Cofield for taking this on, doing a fantastic job organizing and working with team managers and coaches to get the raffle tickets distributed, sold, and collected! A big thank you also goes out to all the team managers and coaches for their efforts communicating to their players and coordinating everything with Andrea!

FM LACROSSE ALUMNI PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: EDDY ARNOLD

Eddy Arnold is a Senior at the University of Oklahoma, Majoring in Finance and Minoring in Marketing – he will be graduating this May with Honors and will be working for BOK Financial in Dallas after graduation.

Eddy developed a love for lacrosse at a young age while living in Columbus, OH and joined FMLA in the 7th grade. Currently, Eddy plays lacrosse for Oklahoma University in the MCLA Division I - Lone Star Alliance.

To date, through the course of playing four seasons with Oklahoma University Men’s Lacrosse, Eddy has 134 goals and 51 assists totaling 185 points overall. 

In MCLA Division I, Eddy is currently 3rd in points in his LSA division (out of 264 players) and is 8th in the country in points (out of 2,236 players) and is averaging 4 points per game.

Eddy has received the following MCLA Division 1- Conference Honors:
- 2015 Rookie of the Year
- 2015 Honorable Mention All-Conference Midfield
- 2017 Second Team All-Conference Attack
- 2018 Offensive Player of the Year
- 2018 1st Team All-Conference Attack


FM Lacrosse Alumni Player Spotlight: Emily Crump

Former FM Lacrosse player Emily Crump, who received a full academic scholarship as well as an athletic scholarship to play lacrosse at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY, is having tremendous success playing lacrosse her first two years in college! FMLA is so excited for Emily and her achievements!

Emily’s Freshman year, she played in 11 games (started 10), made 99 saves, and posted a .518 save percentage. She recorded double-digit saves seven times in five straight games, made a career-high 17 saves against Georgetown, ranked eighth in the NAIA for averaging 9.00 saves per game, tied for fourth on the team with 28 ground balls, and netted her first career goal in the win over Montreat.

In 2017, Emily received the following honors:

Emily's stats and honors so far this year as a Sophomore include:

Cumberland is ranked #18 out of 141 schools for D2/NAIA per LAXPOWER. Cumberland is currently #1 in AAC. Cumberlands is ranked #2 in NAIA across the nation.

2018 NAIA National Women’s Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week (Apr. 3)
Patriots Women Athlete of the Week (Apr. 2)
AAC Defensive Player of the Week (Apr. 2)
Recorded 29 saves in the Patriots two wins in the previous week, stopping a program-best 21 shots (a .750 save percentage) in Cumberlands 13-7 win over seventh-ranked Tennessee Wesleyan.  She made ten of her career-high 21 saves off free position attempts and stopped eight shots in the win over Point. For that week, Emily helped limit opponents to 2-22 on free position attempts (which is the fourth time this season she as recorded at least ten saves in a game and she is ranked sixth in the NAIA with 96 saves).

AAC Defensive Player of the Week (Mar. 20)
Recorded 19 saves on the week as Cumberlands win 2-0. Posted 11 saves versus No. 5 Keiser (Fla.) and had 8 against Ave Maria (Fla.). Had 7 ground balls.

AAC Defensive Player of the Week (Feb. 19)
Recorded 17 saves and allowed 13 goals as Cumberlands went 2-0 last week. Had 8 ground ball. Notched 15 saves in a 15-10 win over No. 2 Lawrence Tech (Mich.).

RallyMe Fundraiser Raffle Winners!

Thank you again to all of the FMLA players who participated in this fundraiser! FMLA was able to raise $2,543 with this fundraiser!

We would like announce that the winner of the Warrior WARP lacrosse head was Grant Krebs, the winner of the Brine Dynasty lacrosse stick was Bailey McQuillen, and the winner of the Kendra Scott necklace and earrings set was Angela Clayton!

Again, a big thank you to Lax Kong for donating the lacrosse items for the girls and boys winners and to Kendra Scott, LLC for donating the jewelry items for the donor winner!



FMLA HS Senior boys build wheelchair ramp for local family!

The HS Boys D1 Varsity Seniors got together to build a wheelchair ramp for a Fort Worth family! This project was made possible by Martin Baleu who volunteers with an organization called The Texas Ramp Project to build ramps for families who might otherwise be home-bound or unable to access their home.

A special thank you to HS Boys D1 Varsity Team Manager Christy Arnold and The Texas Ramp Project volunteer Martin Baleu who planned, organized, and participated in this project! And a big thank you to HS Boys D1 Varsity Head Coach Brendan Carney and the Senior players who worked with Mr. Baleu to construct this much needed ramp!
