Welcome to Flower Mound Lacrosse! Our Mission...

Flower Mound Lacrosse Association (FMLA) is a community based lacrosse program that is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt public charity and non-profit organization dedicated to fostering and promoting a safe, disciplined, respectful, and team-oriented program where boys (1st - 12th grade) and girls (3rd - 12th grade) can learn the fundamentals of lacrosse, develop skills to be competitive in the game, as well as build the essential characteristics of good sportsmanship along with strong character.

Denton County residents voted Flower Mound Lacrosse the Best Lacrosse Association in Denton County (2017, 2016, 2015 & 2013)!

Ryan Sauer recognized by US Lacrosse as Academic All American!

Congratulations to FM Lacrosse Senior D1 Varsity player Ryan Sauer for being recognized by US Lacrosse as a 2018 Academic All American! Ryan is graduating from Flower Mound High School and will be will be attending the University of Texas in the fall majoring in Chemical Engineering.


FM Lacrosse 5/6 & 7/8 Girls Teams Division Champions!

Congratulations to the FM Lacrosse 5/6 & 7/8 Girls teams! Both teams won First Place in their divisions at the end-of-season Lone Star Challenge Lax Tournament May 6-7, 2018! Way to go ladies!

FMLA Youth Girls Teams did a great job at the Hockaday Tournament!

For those not familiar with the girls Hockaday tournament, each of the youth girls teams (3/4, 5/6, and 7/8) play 8 games during the course of a weekend - 4 games on Saturday and 4 games on Sunday... all three girls teams did a great job!

Third Annual FMLA Golf Touranment a great success!

The Third Annual FMLA Golf Tournament held on April 20th at Tour 18 Golf Club was a great success! Beautiful weather and fun was had by all! A huge thank you to all who sponsored this event, to all the golfers, to all who donated items to and participated in the raffle and auction, and to all the volunteers who pulled it all together!

FM Lacrosse Alumni Player Spotlight: Emily Crump

Special Note: The Patriots finished the season with a new Cumberlands Women's Lacrosse program record 20 wins (8 of those wins over ranked opponents) and ranked #2 (which is their highest-ranking ever). In addition, the Patriots won their first AAC regular season title and tournament title, qualifying for the NAIA Invitational for the first time in the program's history.

Former FM Lacrosse player Emily Crump, who received a full academic scholarship as well as an athletic scholarship to play lacrosse at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY, is having tremendous success playing lacrosse her first two years in college! FMLA is so excited for Emily and her achievements!

During the regular 2018 Season, Emily won defensive player of the year honors (122 saves, .578 save percentage, and limiting opponents to 7.17 goals against average). 

Emily's stats and honors in 2018 as a Sophomore include:

Emily’s Freshman year, she played in 11 games (started 10), made 99 saves, and posted a .518 save percentage. She recorded double-digit saves seven times in five straight games, made a career-high 17 saves against Georgetown, ranked eighth in the NAIA for averaging 9.00 saves per game, tied for fourth on the team with 28 ground balls, and netted her first career goal in the win over Montreat.

Car Raffle Fundraiser raises over $4,000 for FMLA!

Thank you to all who participated in the selling and purchasing of the car raffle tickets in support of FMLA’s participation in the Honda of Denton/Toyota of Denton Community Support Fundraiser! Through this fundraiser, FMLA was able to raise $4,326!

A big shout-out to Andrea Cofield for taking this on, doing a fantastic job organizing and working with team managers and coaches to get the raffle tickets distributed, sold, and collected! A big thank you also goes out to all the team managers and coaches for their efforts communicating to their players and coordinating everything with Andrea!

The drawing for the new car took place on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 10 a.m - Dustin Aguilar of Denton, Tx won the 2018 Community Support Fundraiser drawing.  Any additional information regarding this fundraiser can be viewed at http://communitysupportntx.com/.

FM LACROSSE ALUMNI PLAYER SPOTLIGHT: EDDY ARNOLD

Eddy Arnold is a Senior at the University of Oklahoma, Majoring in Finance and Minoring in Marketing – he will be graduating this May with Honors and will be working for BOK Financial in Dallas after graduation. Eddy developed a love for lacrosse at a young age while living in Columbus, OH and joined FMLA in the 7th grade. Currently, Eddy plays lacrosse for Oklahoma University in the MCLA Division I - Lone Star Alliance.

To date, through the course of playing four seasons with Oklahoma University Men’s Lacrosse, Eddy has 134 goals and 51 assists totaling 185 points overall. In MCLA Division I, Eddy is currently 3rd in points in his LSA division (out of 264 players) and is 8th in the country in points (out of 2,236 players) and is averaging 4 points per game.

Eddy has received the following MCLA Division 1- Conference Honors:
- 2015 Rookie of the Year
- 2015 Honorable Mention All-Conference Midfield
- 2017 Second Team All-Conference Attack
- 2018 Offensive Player of the Year
- 2018 1st Team All-Conference Attack
