About FMLA

We are pleased and excited to announce the formation and operation of the Flower Mound Lacrosse Association (“FMLA”). FMLA is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering and promoting a safe, disciplined, respectful, team-oriented program where boys and girls can learn the fundamentals of lacrosse, develop skills to be competitive in the game, and build the essential characteristics of good sportsmanship and strong character. As most of you know, the lacrosse program in Flower Mound originally started under the Cross Timbers YMCA and within two years grew to the point where a new independent organization, FMLA, was necessary to manage and operate the program.

FMLA will continue the tradition of providing great and competitive lacrosse in Flower Mound with both boys and girls teams ranging from 1st/2nd grade through our high school varsity club team. During the next few weeks we will be providing more information about the program including fall registration and our new website that will be located at www.flowermoundlacrosse.org.

As FMLA moves forward to get ready for the future, capital support from the community will be an important component in helping to fund the program to ensure we get a solid start on the lacrosse program. FMLA is seeking from the Internal Revenue Service to be designated a tax exempt, charitable organization and expects to be so designated by the Internal Revenue Service. Accordingly, donations made to FMLA would qualify as tax deductible charitable donations. If you are interested in making a donation please make the check payable to “Flower Mound Lacrosse Association”, write “donation” on it and mail it to Flower Mound Lacrosse Association, P.O. Box 270351, Flower Mound, Texas 75027.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to an exciting future. Sincerely, Chris Hansen President, Flower Mound Lacrosse Association
